The strange thing is that the DWL-AG530, while it finds the DI-784 and shows as connected it fails to allow connection to the network. If I rescan the DWL-AG530 it will then allow connection to the network.

Signal strength appears to be okay (50~60%). I am connecting using 801.11a and typically get about 54Mbps once all is talking. Initial status on the DWL-AG530 shows Encrypted and Connected but something is not happening. As I said, clicking Rescan fixes the problem. All reading come back to the same value. Default channel is set to 60.

A portable using a D-Link PCMCIA wireless card has no problems. I have loaded the latest version of the firmware (looks like its the same as what came with the card) but it didn't help. I am using the D-Link Utility to configure the cards and the DI-784.

Anybody with any ideas? I've taken a Linksys with a Proxim WAP out of service and replaced it with the D-Link. Much faster but I need to resolve this connection problem.
