<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/640660"><b>JayMan</b></A> : Canadians in Afgan are doing more good then harm.<br><br>We are not americans, we do not invade, we go in afterwards and peacekeep.<br><br>English/Anglais<br>IS2005-2053a<br>05 May, 2005<br>Kabul, Afghanistan<br><br>Maj Kevin Winiarski (left) from Toronto, Ont., and Capt Martin Anderson from London, Ont., reservists with the Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) team of Task Force Kabul (TFK), pitch tents to be used as outdoor classrooms at the Abdul-Ali-Mustaghni Boys School in Kabul, Afghanistan.<br><br>The TFK CIMIC team provides the link between Canadian troops and the Kabul civilian population within the Canadian area of responsibility. It helps the Task Force achieve its mission by conducting liaison and providing support to the surrounding communities.<br><br>Over 700 Canadian troops are currently deployed in Afghanistan as part of Operation ATHENA, Canada's contribution to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), in Kabul. It goes like this:<br><br>My name is Yuri. (with russian accent) I risked my life and spent all my money to leave Russia ALL for one thing - to be able to vote.<br><br>First of all, why are they spending money telling me I should vote?
