I thought spinners were kind of cool the first time that I saw them.

They're just plain tacky. If you have a decent, well kept car, spinners just doesn't ad anything to the look.
If my daughter were to want me to rent a limo for prom night, I would be speaking to my local funeral director. They have high end Lincolns with all the toys that they use for pallbearers cars. Leather upholstery and everything. Much classier than the limo barges and with a black paint job, polished out to a mirror finish, much more stealthy.

Exception: the advertising "negative spin" spinners on the cabs in Toronto: as the wheel spins, the ad stays still. It's odd to see something sitting still in the middle of a wheel going 100km/h.

Personally, I've never understood the attraction of an SUV limousine. Limos are supposed to be extra-luxurious and large versions of a luxury car. An Expedition doesn't fit that definition in my books, but I'm not a 'truck person'.

I think the coolest thing I ever saw for a prom/grad night was the younger brother of a friend of mine got a bunch of friends together and rented a double-decker bus for about 20 of them. That ride stole the show that night at the Chateau Laurier. :)

But the cheapest I found is 599 for the weekend (300km's allowed) or 289(100km's allowed) for 24 hours ... (GTA exotic car rentals).

Anyone know of any other place in Toronto?

Limo costs 350 I think for one evening (thats what she told me).
