[DNS] More DNS Wierdness

smeck : I have three machines connected to my router. Two machines (server and laptop) have be online 24/7 with no problem. The other one (desktop) I run occasionally and "rarely" use it's internet connection. Today all machines were online and almost immediately, I began experiencing intermitted dropouts between the laptop and the desktop while browsing with IE. I don't know whether or not the server was being effected. BTW, while this was taking place, the desktop continued to download a file even though my attempts to ping a website using it's domain name failed! I have since replaced Comcast's DNS's and everything works fine now.
