Later today, I'm getting nothing. I phoned Sympatico & I finally got out of them that the problem is with MSN. Eventually, all Sympatico clients will be put on the new MSN email platform. I had them walk me through changing to the new platform & still no email. One tech person blames it on my Norton 2004, which has Email Scanning turned off, as recommended by Sympatico for this new platform thingy. Sorry, I'm not super tech literate.

Another tech help call claims it's MSN's fault at this point & they're not giving Sympatico any idea how long it will take to fix. :huh: They're inundated with calls on this. From there, if it's a local domain, it gets passed the the POP3 server, and if it's a remote address, it hands it to the remote SMTP server. Maybe I'm wrong on this one - but in some way - the SMTP server does handle both incoming and outgoing emails.
