MsTerra : See the original British version (based on a novel by Nick Hornby) starring Colin Firth. It's really more of a "bloke flick". Last season's amazing Sox win makes total sense in the context of the story. I caught Fever Pitch on cable a couple of months ago before I knew there was an American remake in the works, and I thought, it's just like the Red Sox, only with soccer.
--
"Lentils aren't just the most nutritious, healthy, friendly and totally balanced meal in the WHOLE UNIVERSE.
login name : I heard that they had to change the ending of the movie..they never expected the Sox to win!!! Isn't that great!

Apparently, Jimmy Fallons character is a DIE HARD sox fan and when its time to make a choice between love and baseball, he probably finds that there is more to life than baseball after the sox lose. But, the sox didnt lose!

Its a chick flick/comedy but i'll definately see it. Anything to see the sox on the big screen.
--
"Man makes machines to man the machines That make the machines, that make the machines.
Make a machine to make a machineAnd man and machine will make a machineTo break the machines that make the machines."
