But if a person looked thru the reviews then they could see wether the general direction of the ISP is trending up or down by being able to see the old reviews. I would feel a lot better about an ISP that was crappy then got a LOT better than by an ISP that only had reviews 6 months to a year old that said everything was dandy.

There ADSL is very popular from what i gather in my area.just a month or so ago they added a total of 4 T-1 cards in the D slam, and the sped was terrific, now its slowing down to much. I had to make many phone calls just to get them to upgrade my area, which was due for an upgrade eventually, it just seemed to motivate them more, in a faster fashion, so i have made a few phone calls again, and there is going to have to be an addition of more bandwidth in my area.

Other than that they are fantastic.

That "nag screen" appears to nearly everyone who has not updated their review in awhile. I'm not sure what that time period is... several months, if not a year, but it's a common occurence and you do have the option of not reviewing if you choose. There is no requirement that you do a review. It's just that the site is pretty well dedicated to providing first-hand information about the various available ISPs for anyone who is "shopping" for one.
