dp : I agree with FoMoCo 's assessment. I routinely see this myself if I've accessed another PC on the network and then try to shutdown. You should recognize the machine name that its reporting as connected though, no?
--
Write your questions down on the back of a $20 dollar bill and send them to me

FoMoCo : Without seeing it I would believe it is reporting the other pc's on your network as the ones being logged on.I have 2 in mine and if I access one from the other then shut the other down it reports the same as yours. As long as you are not seeing unfamiliar users logged on no need to worry.
--
When life becomes a drag - floor it - Galaxie 500

vitaman : I have a home network that is both wired and wireless. 128bit security is enabled. On one laptop (runing XP)when I go to turn it off, I sometimes get the prompt "another user is logged on to this computer do you want to shut down". I checked the DHCP and there were only the computers on my network listed. I am running Norton Utilities and other than the routers protection do not have a firewall. I have not yet installed SP2.

Any suggestions?
