Seems it was just affecting southern Illinois and some Indiana users. Again no idea what the cause was but this is getting made into some conspiracy theory type stuff. Granted yes a straight answer would be nice but as someone else said most likely it was an equipment issue and noone was aware that was causing this type of problem.
