My particular central office is so tenuous a situation that it always takes weeks or months to get any change made, so the big favor I am asking for them is merely to be patient and keep pressing Covad and BellSOuth o do it! Ordinarily BellSOuth stalls indefinitely... it has already been 3 weeks....
Just installing Cyberonic MCI in the first place took months. I finally had to get all involved with appeals to BellSouth regional management (and implied threats of appeals to the PUC) to get it done. The problems here are not related to the loop, which is fine, but rather within the CO. There are old cables and new cables, cables that are too short, unlabled cables etc. etc., in the CO.
So my own effort is not to reduce my cost, it is to give Cyberonic to have enough incentive to keep trying at all.
But the average person would be trying to get that free month.... |
