1 edit | Looks like only Air Canada flights within US borders for now
to passengers on trans-border flights expanding Aircell's North American footprint and making Air Canada the first Canadian airline to offer inflight Wi-Fi.
Under this agreement, Air Canada will roll out the Gogo system on select flights, initially installing the system on its Airbus A319 aircraft that fly across the border into the United States.
Gogo system on Air Canada's trans-border routes will be available first in the U.S. and powered by Aircell's existing U.S. network, making Air Canada's initial rollout fast, economical and simple. Aircell looks forward to the licensing and roll out of a Canadian Air-to-Ground network that will facilitate Air Canada's future fleet-wide deployment. Maybe down the road the svc will be available WITHIN Canada's borders. -- My BLOG .. .. Internet News .. .. My Web Page Ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk? |

That "X" looks very similar to the one seen on the Xbox. |

| Might be good for businessmen
but personally I couldn't care less. They've now got AC power in their "renovated interior" aircraft and that's all I care about, that I can run my laptop as long as I want and not be limited to battery. Load a bunch of movies and game and you're all set, no need to pay money to get internet unless you really can't live without the web for a few hours. |

| It must be for people in buiness class. In coach Air Canada doesn't give people enough room to read a book comfortably never mind opening a laptop. I was excited when I saw the AC outlet, but that ended the moment the person ahead of me reclined their seat. No chance of a laptop then. -- In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. |

Well yeah, you're kind of confined to using your laptop on your lap and tilting your own seat back. Forget about using the meal tray to set your laptop on. It's better than nothing at least. Plus you don't have to use it for your laptop, you can keep portable media players juiced up. |
