File Sharing Blocked on Western Digital Storage Devices

Anyone saying WD drives suck hasn't used a Raptor. They're one of the fastest if not the fastest drive around. Of course any drive with crapware preloaded on it like that isn't going to sell and then WD will go back to selling without.

Guh

WD used to be AWESOME back in the day. Hell, I still have an OLLLLD WD 20.5gb drive that I still use. It was probably made at least 10 years ago.. They've started going downhill as of late though. Pretty soon, they'll be just another Maxtor. And everyone who has a clue knows Maxtor makes the worst drives ever. It's a damn shame.

Disgusting

This is very disappointing to say the least. Yet another step in the wrong direction. I have used WD for years but will no longer support them when they do things like this. They have no way of knowing if the files trying to be shared are copyrighted or are in fact the property of the hard drive owner. Next it will be embedded into the hardware itself and not as software. Disgusting.
