Re: Homework.. People still actually like that black ops S**t well i'm not a fan of activision anymore after my couple last purchases i am done with them and blizzard... I don't know what you people see in those kind of games but i know there over doing it that's for certain. I am an old gamer and like to keep it this way, the new COD games look like crap with all that stuff cluttering your screen, using all your pitiful Graphics card all on one little spot.. Who on earth needs all that graphics? the older COD games look just as good, apparently it's not enough for you people though.
Take a good look at activision at the older days when it first was born, yeah kind of boring huh? but now they have improved but how improved? they improved so much nowadays to where it uses your entire computer, eating up all your memory, cpu, GFX and for what? A game that is'nt even any account anymore, I played COD MW3 and block ops 1 plenty to understand.. The mapping needs worked on some and the layout, cut out some of the cutscenes, its like everyones wasting there money on some game that just has video scenes in it more than actually playing the game.
Now BL2 i cannot say much, but i have played BL1 and i must say, what a pile of mostly crap... the GFX and a lot of the layout has got to go.. i expected something more from gearbox then this..... never again will i be buying from: blizzard, activision or gearbox again... its one less customer you have to worry about catching there attention. I'm sure i will be loosing trustfulness and respect from other game company's down the road cause the gaming industry is changing much and some people like myself and a few other of my friends don't take too kind to that sorta stuff... If it's all gonna change then so be it, I will quit playing all new coming games together |

The target date for the complicated auction, which has three distinct parts, is June 2014.
The complicated process, which is the first of its kind, will have three components. First there is the reverse auction, in which TV broadcasters will voluntarily sell their spectrum back to the government. Then there's a "repacking" or re-allocation of remaining television spectrum designed to free up large enough blocks for use by wireless operators. Finally, the plan calls for a forward auction in which the wireless broadband providers would bid on available bandwidth.
Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless carrier, applauded the FCC's action.
But some in the industry wonder how the FCC can pull off this daunting task. Earlier in the week, Steve Berry -- head of the Competitive Carrier Association, which represents the non-Verizon, non-AT&T carriers -- said he doubted the FCC could meet its 2014 target date.
"If they hold both the reverse auction and the forward auction at the same time, I'm just not sure how it can be done," he said. "I'm not sure who will be able to bid on spectrum without knowing how much they will get and whether or not the spectrum is contiguous."
The next step in the process is that both of these items will be opened to the public for comment. And at the end of the comment period, the FCC will evaluate the information and draft a formal proposal that will be voted on by the commission. One question some are worried about is what this means for the continued existence of Over The Air(OTA) broadcast TV. If the broadcasters sell their spectrum, could that end OTA TV as we know it. -- »www.gop.com/2012-republican-platform_home/ »www.gop.com/2012-republican-plat···onalism/ |

| Signed up for Xfinity home security Install scheduled for for October 9th. Got the preferred package. Unfortunately they cannot takeover my current system (which is a wireless system that I installed myself but is monitored by phone line)
One thing I like about the Xfinity offering is the light control. I also have the option of installing cameras when finances allow. I also like the dual path alarm monitoring (cellular and broadband).
I cannot get the climate control feature as the heat in this house is 240 volt baseboard heat (which requires line voltage thermostats).
I also like being able to control and monitor the system through my iPhone/iPad and being able to monitor it by web.
Now try getting those features through a local contractor. -- I wish I still lived in Iowa; Everything there from rent and groceries to Cable TV is much cheaper in Iowa (especially with an overbuilder in town). |

Good thing my laptop is a G53SX then. Heck, my desktop is a Phenom II X3 with a GF GTS250. It runs everything just fine at max resolution.
Don't know what your issue is.
said by pnh102:You can't beat River Raid and Pitfall!!!! I had both of those games.. 26 years ago. I still play them on my Atari 800XL that (surprisingly) still runs. Just need a new PSU for my 1010 and 1050. |
