Re: good... actually it's supposed to matter what we think. if the system as a whole is working correctly and enough people pressure their elected representation the laws can be changed. however due to the $$ being spread around sadly in effect you're statement is correct. the law is what it is and even though it is horribly broken it won't be fixed any time soon.

The Patent Office for granting such a ludicrously broad patent, and the holder for abusing such to stem competition because an icon looks just a little too similar - though this is not to be confused with trademarks suits such as that by Sony against Clearwire. Let's be honest, that logo for Clearwire DID look pretty darn similar to Sony's Ericsson logo. |
