bnceo join:2007-10-11 Bel Air, MD | At release date, AT&T should have their new mobile data share plans out and ready. Personally, I'm on the 5GB plan and love it.
My biggest concern with this launch is when will they have unlocked phones available. Hope not two months after release like last year =\ |

 | reply to Duramax08 You can be sure won't carry through. We now have phones that are capable of going through our monthly limit in less than 30 minutes. |

 | Ugh... SO glad I don't work for the Big Blue Meatball any more. Last year I caught grief for taking vacation the week the 4S came out. The ARSM called me out on it, but I'd had that vacation planned for almost exactly a year. I had a great time. |

Re: idunno said by FBGuy:I didn't know that there were iPhones that had 4g/LTE In the statement, AT&T outlined how the new policy will work:
· Customers with a 3G or 4G smartphone who also still have our unlimited data plan will see speeds reduced if they use 3GB (gigabytes) of data or more in a billing cycle. Speeds will return to normal at the start of the next billing cycle. For context, less than 5 percent of smartphone customers use more than 3GB per month.
· For customers with a 4G LTE smartphone who also still have our unlimited data plan data speeds will be reduced if usage is 5GB (gigabytes) or more in a billing cycle. Speeds will return to normal at the start of the next billing cycle. »blog.chron.com/techblog/2012/03/···-policy/ -- The adventure continues...Sanctuary.... |

openbox9Premium join:2004-01-26 japan kudos:2 | The rumor is that Apple is finally going to give the masses a 4" screen. I'm with you although I'm unfortunately stuck with an iPhone for another couple of months and often find myself missing the 4.3" screen on my DX. Not to mention, that after being used to Android for 2+ years, going with iOS is frustrating. |

Re: details said by FBGuy:so, you would buy this even if the specs don't change? Never heard of a new smartphone that specs didn't change. Anything is an improvement from my 3GS. 4g speeds are really not that important to me. I'm fine with the speeds I have. But my iPhone is struggling since that big software update last year. And I want to keep my granddaddy unlimited. Time to upgrade. -- The adventure continues...Sanctuary.... |

| Just in time for my Upgrade Just in time for my upgrade, except that my exact upgrade eligibility date is November 29, 2012. Hopefully it will be LTE compatible as I live in a VZW area that has been upgraded to LTE. -- I wish I still lived in Iowa; Everything there from rent and groceries to Cable TV is much cheaper in Iowa (especially with an overbuilder in town). |

Re: idunno But, what that doesn't say is if customers with a 3G smartphone can upgrade to a 4G smartphone without losing unlimited data In' AT&T's system 3G, HSPA+ and LTE are all different plans that operate on different APN's |
