I can't understand all the anti-Apple internet rage. If you have a problem with their products, or the company, don't buy em.
Pretty simple. |

Apple needs to know that we recognize bullshit when we see/hear it. |

I guess lately, the "I hate AT&T & iPhone" slant has just been wearing on me (I know that I'm not alone). Hopefully you can take a bit of criticism and use for good.
To address the point you were trying to get across, what Apple is doing is better than I expected (I didn't even expect them to do free bumpers). FYI, I will be buying the iPhone 4, once you have one.. you're hooked (antenna and all) |

| Top right vs. bottom left I don't understand why the hotspot wasn't placed in the top right corner of the phone. This would seem to be the place where most users would never hold the phone. It seems like such an obvious solution....just flip the antenna from its current style. Am I too simplistic?
For me..I'm on a 3G and eligible for an update. I will not purchase this phone and enter into another 2 year term with AT&T if the best solution they can come up with is to give away a piece of rubber. |

Re: Returning it tomorrow Go to ATM...different people have, on occasions, different problems with products. .55% of iPhone 4 users have contacted Apple about reception problems which is low for Apple products. AT&T return rate is 1.7% compared to 6% with the 3GS. While the iPhone 4 does drop more calls than the 3GS, it is less than 1 additional call per hundred.
So it appears that the media is making this out to be WAY more than it is. People aren't flooding AppleCare with calls. People are running to return the handset. And the iPhone 4 isn't dropping a crap load more calls than the 3GS. |

Re: RE: Apple Downplays Antenna Issue Using High-End Bullshit Apple made a mistake. They (sorta) admitted it.
If you feel that they didn't fix the problem to your satisfaction, or didn't explain the problem to your satisfaction, you can return your phone, get out of your contract, and get something else.
Who cares if the general populace 'recognizes bullshit' or not? |

Re: 2 Things Karl Karl, never change.
Impartiality is great, neutrality is great, but in most cases in today's world, it simply doesn't work.
By even paying lip service to apple having a leg to stand on in this issue you're giving them too much credit.
It's okay with me that you call bullshit what it is. |
