 | Not released yet... The phone is not released yet. How can you make such a claim when nothing has been confirmed. Don't over reach. |
|
 | Nexus One Where have you been? It isn't restricted to T-Mobile at all. The specs that have been released so far indicate the Nexus One will work on all 4 of the existing networks. |

Re: Same as always from Google said by toddbs98: What more do you expect from Google, lots of hype and media frenzy but nothing really new or exciting. That is not always true. The Android 2.0 OS is stunning, especially considering the fact that it's newly released. Most of what this phone can do is simply because of the Android 2.1 OS, which can be hacked onto any other Android phone and will be offically released for them soon.
Couple all that with the fact that it's on T-Mobile, it wasn't cheaper than many other Android phones, and the Snapdragon 1GHz processor, while fast, isn't by any means the fastest out, and you get this type of response. -- trafficcloak.com - pptp/sstp vpn services |

 | Actually... Google has been helping with the development of android and revolutionizing pretty much everything on the net...for those who don't see it, maybe your blind or not really a net guru. They have been driving the development of lots of open source projects, and even paying people without getting anything back. They have put alot of work into android as well...which im sure most of the corporate whores dont reallly like to much considering it IS a iphone killer, i dont care if you're an apple affiliate losing money thats the truth. Its sad that people still bash them just because they are afraid of new ideas and losing out on money to there new competition....
Ive been following the development of android since it was announced and have told everyone i know to invest in the manufactures who are developing the phones...give it another year for everyone to realize the potential of android. I would easily shell out $500 for the nexus one considering how badass it is, and im a developer. |

I think that is unfair of Google to do the one thing about the iPhone is their OS isn't forked every iPhone can use the latest OS stuff some better than others of course but atleast there are new OS features being added and what not from Apple. Re: Actually... I like where the idea of opening up the GUI guts (of everything from voicemail control to calling mechanisms) to companies not named AT&T, Verizon, Apple, etc. I love how Google Voice could shake up everything. That said, it still doesn't make the rumored Nexus One pricing any more interesting....
Now maybe down the road, when Google starts selling a myriad of cheap, unlocked handsets that all work on LTE we could see something interesting. But right now? Kind of a disjointed, only slightly interesting mess... |

And who knows when it will be available I'm not saying it will work, but if your Moment isn't heavily customized by Samsung, you *may* be able to just dump the Android release on it directly from Google. That is how I upgraded my Droid. It even kept the VCast apps store in the Android Market.
