Good For Them

I wish more municipalities would wrestle control of the last mile away from the one or two providers who generally offer service in an area.

Canada *used* to be good with upload.
eastlink.ca was giving 1mbps upload when US providers were cheaping out with 128kbps.

So what telco with crappy offerings will suck all the resources away from this by filing a lawsuit!

Nice Plans, Nice Prices

I have to say, this is one time where, if the service is inclusive of taxes and fees, I'd unequivocally get a phone line (the 10¢ one), just for backup purposes.

About the internet, while 10/5 isn't the fastest in the world, the upload is AMAZING compared with most places and I'd love to have that kind of connectivity for $43 per month.

Perfect

The people in Powell, Wyoming managed to get themselves wired with broadband instead of ME paying for it. Maybe this will catch on....
