| We just had a blackout a bit ago. I bet you it was caused by comcast. Wanna know why? Every non-storm blackout in the last 20 years here has been caused by cable co excavation. I'm not making this up. It got so bad that the electric companies dug up all the old lines that run near the curb and put them in PVC conduit. It still happens though. Mostly when they are digging near a major intersection.

| Bombcast Funny how if you are smarter than a box of rocks, you cannot get a job. I get the ( snotty voice ) Too Expensive excuse.
I had to move from Akron to my sister's house in Marysville, Ohio because I lost my job to $10 per hour electricians. The morning after the last trip, the alleged boss who gave the work to $10 per hour electricans called my saying that he needed me for a few hours of work. He had not called me for 4 weeks. He was SHOCKED when he learned that I moved away because he had no work for me. I then told him to fly a kite on the moon. | |

| It happens... The timing is what makes it funny... But, as others have said - the common problem is the subcontractors. Verizon had their bumps and bruises, now it's Comcast's turn. At least nobody was hurt/killed and the damage isn't catastrophic, the poor lady didn't have her house burn down. -- So put me on a highway, and show me a sign. And take it to the limit one more time... | |
