Then why don't they go after pirates?

All this bravado by the FCC, but meanwhile, there are pirate radio stations all over New York City that interfere with commercial broadcasts and they do NOTHING!!!

They bust pirates all the time. Read the FCC Daily Digest.

The so-called bravado you imagine isn't that glamorous, macho, or sexy. It's called Enforcement and it's usually a lot of field measurements, warning letters, phone calls, and boring administrative work. But if you think it's fun and easy, call up the FCC and find out how you apply for a position.
