<description><![CDATA[I play at freeslots.com daily. After I accumulate a certain amount of 'credits', I click on a 'button' to add it to my total that I've accumulated since 2000. I've never had any problems with this website at all.
After attempting to login (the 1 and only site I have never written down my data - password - ), I can't login at all and I get the following popup:
IDispatch error #3092. Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers [SQL Server]. The transaction log for database 'drawing' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log.'
Unfortunately, I have no way of contacting support at this website, other than requesting a new password to be sent using an email to me and clicking on that.
Well, I received said email, clicked on that link, did the new password, hit the 'submit' button and got the following...see attachment.
I also did the system restore, thinking that could help me - no luck  :mad:
Can anyone help me on this? This is the only site this has shown up on and I have no 'baddies' at all, am updated on everything.

<title>[WIN7] Dropping internet connection due to loss of IP</title>

<description><![CDATA[I do not know if this is an ISP problem, (quite possibly) or in the OS. 

My computer is connected to my ISP by a modem. No need for a router. 

Recently on occasion while online I will lose my Internet connection. Other than stuck on the last page loaded nothing else happens. 

I will then run a Windows 7 trouble shooting diagnostic and it determines I cannot connect, (lost connection) because I do not have a valid IP address. Windows then "fixes" the problem through the trouble shooter. Bingo I'm reconnected without having to reboot or do anything in response. 

Coincidently, and separately, when I first got TWC something like a couple of months ago I got an IP that apparently belonged to a former subscriber that just quit them or maybe just changed IPs with them. I don't know. Bottom line was in certain categories I was getting traffic or problems associated with that IP that clearly through investigation indicated "traffic" and issues being directed to that IP now my IP that was sent intended for the other person associated with that IP. I got the IP changed. 

I only add the last part as it might be a clue to TWC being an issue.  ]]></description>

<title>[WIN8] Windows Defender Mp Telemetry issue?</title>

<description><![CDATA[I just happened to notice two of these in Action Center (who thought something as obscure as Action Center was a good idea? - I expect immediate notification of problems...not hiding them in Action Center that I almost never look at).  They are dated June 11 and June 15.  I can't find much Googling this, plus, what I found does not involve Windows Defender on Windows 8 which different from WD on earlier OSes (although maybe not different for this error).  

I update WD manually from the Malware Protection Center every 24 hours. 

Does this problem indicate bad updates? I updated on the 16 and 17 (not yet on the 18) and those updates did not generate this problem in Action Center.   Event Viewer I do check regularly (but almost never think to look at Action Center) and I don't see any event regarding this.  

Do I need to take any action?

<title>[Excel] Need Excel Guru to help with my Timesheet</title>

<description><![CDATA[I would like some help fine tuning an excel time sheet I made to use at work.

The Excel document is formatted for two pages but is printed on one sheet of paper in duplex mode.

Each project we enter on our time sheet has a unique Job number. We also enter the amount of time spent on each project for that day.

At the end of the week we'll summarize the work done on each project, tally up the total hours and enter them on page two of the excel document so that it will be at the back of the time sheet when printed. (Something similar to the sample in the attachment) 

My Question is, how do I make Excel use the data from page one to automatically fill in the info on Page two?

After a night of basic working on my desktop - no updating, no CCleaning, no new install I woke to see an exclamation point warning sign on the internet connectivity icon in the sys tray.

Rebooted the computer - no help
Unplugged modem and router, waited about 10 minutes and then powered up modem until all the required lights came on, powered up router - no help.
The port in the back of the router showed activity to my desktop and the actual ether net port on the back of the desktop blinks a bit to show activity there too.

The troubleshooter came back with the same error over and over
"Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration - Not fixed.

Released and renewed - nothing.
Made sure the adapter was set to receive address automatically.

I Googled for solutions and tried several of them but they all sort of said the same things as I already had done. I also tried making a static IP with no luck using similar settings as another computer but a different IP.

<title>[WIN7] replacing factory image with your own....</title>

i just spent a great deal trouble shooting my laptop because a certain software's service did not want to start upon boot up...

-i tried uninstalling all software that may be incompatible with
-i tried debugging the software by reading the manual
-i tried going to a previous saved image that i had
-i went to factory image

all to no avail...so my last option turned out to be my solution...re-installing windows. 

conclusion-something from factory image was causing my software not to play nice with pre-installed software. 

now that i know this...i want to get rig of the factory image and replace is with a new one fully patched....either that, or rely on 3rd party software to image.

replacing the factory image would be the most convenient...why?

-no need for winPE, for example 
-faster recovery time
-convenience

so has anyone done this: replaced the factory image with your own?

<description><![CDATA[Basically I hastily  setup this server physically and logically. I thought I understood it fairly well for my needs but I came up against a little problem involving Storage Spaces I'm not sure about.

By my count that would be about 25TB (not including OS drive, formatting or conversion) or about 22.7TB according to the OS.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot make the "Storage Space Size" at 15.5TB equal that of the "Total Pool Capacity" at 22.7TB. "Available Pool Capacity" is at 7.33TB which which is what I am trying to add to the existing Storage Space Pool. It will go up to 15.9TB but no further.  I can allocate that 7.33TB to a new Storage Spaces Pool but thats not what I want.

I'm still trying to figure this out and the best I could come up with is that this is a feature of Thin provisioning whereby space would be dynamically added as needed. However, I dont recall setting it up that way nor do I know of a way to check such settings. 

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

<title>Server 2012 file sharing</title>

I am having some difficulties with ACL and share permissions. As per MS docs, the best practice for a shared folder to give full share rights to a particular group and then give lesser permissions at the NTFS level for that particular group or users. This is because the less permissive permission takes precedence when computed.

So i have 1 shared folder name: 
- MyDepartment: no one but admins can create folders/files within this folder as this are managed; so far we have 2 folders Library and Users. This is working as expected.
- MyDepartment\Library: members of the group can read/write without restrictions, this is working fine.
- MyDepartment\Users: Private user folders where each user has full rights only to their specific folder, other users can only list the folders and files here, but no subfolders unless their own.

This is where i start to lose it. 

I thought that anyone who created a folder or file was considered under NTFS the owner, but it seems it is not the case. 

Anyone care to share some insights on the last part i am trying to accomplish?

<description><![CDATA[I have a 6 year old laptop (Lenovo T61 with 8 GB or RAM, 2GHz dual core CPU) and want to optimize it a little bit.

I found in Windows Scheduler that update checkers for Adobe Flash and Google applications are scheduled to run every hour.

Is there really a need for them to run every hour? Or every day for that matter? If I change the schedule for them to less frequent - is there a chance it can negatively affect them? 

The only thing I can think of is that when update is run it can change the schedule back to original frequency.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[I've been toying with exchange server 2013 at home using an smart host to send mail.  I tested for open relay but it seems I may have got myself in a bind.  Outgoing mail is backing up and have 300 or so messages in the queue.  Is there any special test for exchange 2013 to test as an open relay.  Can it be tested while my outgoing mail is shut down? <description><![CDATA[Can anyone who installed all patches from 6/11/2013 (including the 2 optional patches) run a 
sfc /scannow 

and see if you are getting stuck in an endless repair loop?

I had re-installed windows to track down which program was corrupting system files, so I have been running sfc several times a day after installing various software.

Sfc has been running pretty fast (start to finish under 10 mins) up until I applied 6/11's patches... now it will get to 100% and sit there for an additional 15 mins. Once complete it will say "system file repair changes will take effect after next reboot". I will reboot and run sfc again, same thing occurs.

<description><![CDATA[I have tried all the fixes I can find to resolve this issue, none have worked. When trying to perform a Windows Update using Windows XPPro and IE8 I receive an object error. Cancelling the pop-up just causes it to immediately return and stops the update program from running. Anyone have any ideas on what I have over looked. So far scanned for malware/viruses, uninstalled all toolbars, tried safe boot, clean boot, etc noting works.]]></description>
