[Info] Looking for a pup

Hi guys,

Looking to get a pup for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. We are looking for something that is small/house dog and that is good with kids. Being good with kids is a MAJOR point. I'd also like to find other info on how to properly train a dog.

I'd like to keep it under $500 if we buy from a breeder, but we can also go to an adoption agency as well. Looking for pups in a 100 mile radius of 76020, so that should give us plenty of options. Also, we would like a female.

Thanks for any info!

Mod note: [Split] from 3 month old topic here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20954013-Is-it-common-to-live-in-a-major-city-and-still-not-get-DSL

Are you still looking for dsl? If yes do you live in a Verizon or AT&T neighborhood? I think Dallas is split if I am not mistaken.

[Info] OTA HD

i know there might be more specific forums for this, but i want input from people in dallas which is why i am posting here.

i am seriously considering cutting the direcTV cord, and going OTA HD and internet downloading only for watching tv. i have questions about OTA HDTV.

specifically, i can't make heads or tails if i need an indoor vs. outdoor antenna. how big of a sucker do i need? i went to all the info sites on OTA HDTV, and i know i am 30-40 miles from the source, and most of the websites like http://www.antennaweb.org point me to a large directional outdoor antenna. then i read random posts from all over that people around me get by with just an indoor. i am in plano, 75075, around custer and park. i have a single story home, nothing really blocking line of sight anywhere. then i start reading about this directional thing...does that mean, i have to "move" my antenna in order to watch certain stations, or will it pick up everything?

will this thing work for me? http://www.antennasdirect.com/C2-Clearstream-DTV-antenna.html or can i get someting smaller? can i mount in the attic and still receive good signal? or do i have to mount it on my roof and piss off my anal neighbors? completely in the dark here on all this.

also, after i get the antenna installed, does that mean, i just run a splitter and then coax to each tv in the house? do all the TVs run off the same antenna, able to watch different channels, etc? (yes, i have been stuck in the cable world too long, i don't even know how regular FREE tv even works anymore lol).

i plan on building a beyondTV server, and then having each tv with a box which can access the server. anyone have any better suggestions than snapstream beyondTV? i download everything that i can't get OTA via bittorrent or i find it somewhere. i'm not worried about finding content really. i'm just clueless about the whole antenna thing.

little help please?
