@shawcable.net | Weighted Data Usage Removed from Access' Website Access has always had a weighted system for tracking bandwidth usage, with each gigabtye of data transferred counting as more/less depending on the time of day.
Customers could follow their monthly transfer to ensure they weren't going over the cap of 100 points, which would result in warnings, and eventually throttling during peak times.
Now they have removed those statistics from the usage section of the website, possibly signalling a change in their policy. |
