1.2 Contracts·The self-care site does not show the pricing plan I'm currently on ·How can I get the best priced contract for HSE? ·Under what circumstances may I cancel a contract without penalty? ·Is there any penalty if i don't want to renew my contract with Bell

This is normal. The Self-Care website does not show any monthly discounts you may be receiving each month. These will appear on your bill. If they do not appear on your bill, call the Billing office at 310-SURF.

Call 310-SURF and press the buttons to take you to the billing office.
Note that there is no such thing as unlimited download/upload contracts anymore, despite what anyone from this forum or Sympatico may tell you. If you want unlimited, find a different ISP.
$34.95 per month in Ontario Although Sympatico will claim this contract no longer exists if you ask about it, they will give you the HSE service for $34.95 a month on a one-year contract if you press them by threatening to cancel or switch to another ISP. (Ordinarily, this price is only available to subscribers in Québec to compete with Vidéotron.) Mentioning Rogers and their latest promo, or the mandatory modem rental, or substandard service, or whatever annoys you, can provide a bit of additional leverage and arm-twisting.
$29.95 per month in Québec If you mention Vidéotron's $29.95 rate, Sympatico may give you a contract to match.
$29.95 per month in Ontario If you mention a competing ISP such as 3web or IGS offering a monthly $29.95 rate, Sympatico may give you a contract to match. However this is extremely unlikely.
$24.95 per month for 6 months for current subscribers See this thread for a member account of the offer they received: /forum/remark,12390845
There are also other deals and rates available. It also depends on the customer service rep you are talking to. Some are more willing to do this than others, so if you don't succeed the first time, call again later and speak to someone else. If you are a long-time customer, this can also work to your advantage.

1. You are moving to an area where Sympatico DSL is not available. 2. Bell is not able to provide you with a minimum of 1 megabit download speeds.

No, as long as you set a cancellation date for after your contract has expired. You need to give 30 day notice if you wish to cancel. The My Bell page will show you your contract expiry date.
