    •Put the Microsoft Office XP CD-ROM into the Drive (Not the SP1)•Create 2 Temporary Directory C:\Office and C:\Update•Start/Run... type: X:\SETUP.EXE /a and click OK(where x indicates ur hard disk drive)
    •Browse the Install Location and type the Product Key. Click Next, accept the License Agreement and click Install
    •The directory C:\Office must have the following files in it:
    Files(directory)
    INSTMSI(exe)
    INSTMSIW(exe)
    SETUP(Exe)
    readme(html)
    autorun(ini)
    owc10
    proplus•Download the Office XP Service Pack2 Administrative update from Microsoft (50224 KB)

    •Unpack the oxpsp2a.exe into the create directory C:\Update (it will contain 2 files)

    •Start/Run... type:
    msiexec /p C:\Update\MAINSP2ff.msp /a C:\Office\PROPLUS.MSI SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb
    and click OK

    •This is the new directory C:\Office containing the: Microsoft Office XP SP2 Full

    •Burn it to a cd and To Install the "Microsoft Office XP SP2" click SETUP.EXE now delete the C:\Update and burn the C:\Office

Microsoft has also provided Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003 users with an add-on to automatically backup the .pst file on a schedule. The latest release can be found here - Personal Folders Backup.
