by redxii by redxii If you order Earthlink Cable by either calling Earthlink or by using their website, after completing the order, CALL YOUR LOCAL TIME WARNER office to schedule your installation. Ask for the installation or service department and tell them you've ordered internet service and would like to schedule the install. Many people have reported waiting two weeks with no callbacks from TW. People who have called have been treated courteously and quickly. So, what's the harm in calling ?
I recently changed from Earthlink DSL to Time Warner Cable by Earthlink. What a mess!!!! Nobody - neither time warner or earthlink could answer my questions. As a 12 year subscriber to Earthlink I really felt frustrated and don't know even now if my problems have been corrected. The transition from DSL to cable was installed in minutes and performed flawlessly - the customer service depts. for BOTH companies did NOT! This is NO way to run a business!!! I'd like an apology and reassurance that the change over will run smoothly - including the 8 email boxes I've had on Earthlink for the past 12 years!
