When this happens, browse into the Cayman router and check the home page. If it shows WAN Users: 1, this means your Cayman has dropped it's feature keys.
To correct this, follow these steps:
1. goto »www.netopia.com/equipment/purcha···der.html 2. enter your serial number 3. Do Not Check any Boxes 4. click continue. 5. Fill out the form and download your file. 6. Next, browse back into your Cayman and go to Install. 7. Choose Install Keys. 8. After you have uploaded your keys to your router, choose save and restart.
Be sure to check your other features, as this only restores your WAN Users and Security Monitoring. Feature keys such as VPN and Wireless, if you had them, must supplied from Netopia tech support in a seperate file.
