I'm using OE. I set up the account following the instructions in this FAQ. I can receive email with no problem, but I can't send.
In my Outlook Express settings, my ISP account is set as the default. I even deleted it, but still couldn't send using DSLR email.
Solution:
You will have to use your ISP for SMTP mail. You can still use your DSLR email address even though you are using your ISP's email server.
In the box for POP settings, enter mail.dslr.net and in the box for SMTP settings enter mindspring.com (or whatever your ISP is).
POP.mail.dslr.net
SMTP.mindspring.com
