Right click your CS or HL shortcut, Choose properties, you will see several fields, The first field should be 'target' which is what we want. put your cursor at the very end of that line and enter -console make sure there is a space between -console and the original target line. It should look like this: CS Retail version:C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike.exe -console HL Mod version:C:\Sierra\half-life\hl.exe -game cstrike -console Once you add -console to the target line click ok, launch HL and see if the 'console' appears on the menu.

-fonx veral :) 2013-04-09 09:58:37 right click on the counter icon on the desktop, go properties, click on shortcut at the top, look at: Target, change the address to:
C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike.exe -console, or
C:\Sierra\half-life\hl.exe -game cstrike -console (depends on the game u installed)
2012-09-13 12:00:28 Mine won't let me change it...
My current address is: "D:\a on 192.168.1.42\cstrike.exe"
I added the console extension to: "D:\a on 192.168.1.42\cstrike.exe -console" but still nothing...it won't even save, saying it's invalid. 2012-11-03 03:22:10 Mine won't let me change it... it should be "D:\a on 192.168.1.42\cstrike.exe" -console
not "D:\a on 192.168.1.42\cstrike.exe -console"
hope it helps 2012-12-02 00:54:29 | |||||
