Before you install, if you are a Windows user and one of those people who isn't a computer nerd and really does not want to be, yet you really would like to help with this project, we really do recommend to start with the no-nonsense console CPU version of the client.
Read this thread where a member easily is off and running with the console version after quite a struggle with the systray version ---> Consider installing this version first.
The only thing you would want to change is to put in your chosen folding name during the first part of the install.
You can always get fancier later, but this will give you a chance to learn the basics of folding before considering other options.
