The 2008 Member Choice Poll received 437 votes by 390 participants. 24% of the members voting indicated that the Windows defrag program was their preference this year.
For members that use third party software Perfect Disk was the defrag software of choice this year with 21% and Diskeeper coming in right behind with 18%

There was a very strong showing for a newcomer which was not included in the poll Auslogics received 29 write in votes and evidently a few conversions.

Other members choices worth mentioning are JK Defrag, O&O Defrag and Diskeeper Lite
