How do I copy a 2600 IOS image to 16MB flash when the router says it won't fit? (#14497)
This is a known issue and there is a Cisco document that details what you have to do: Image Does Not Fit Onto Default 16MB Flash Card For 2610/2611/2612/2613/2620/2621 Routers Please note that after performing the squeeze operation, when you copy the image to flash, you will be asked if you want to erase the flash - make sure you answer "no" or you will wipe out the effects of what you have already done. show feedback form
