NOTE: The new service bundle uses ADSL2+ only and you will need the Earthlink supplied ADSL2+ modem to connect unless you have your own ADSL2/ADSL2+ ready Modem. A standard ADSL Modem will NOT work with the ADSL2+ Standard and can only connect with older backwards compatible standards that top out at 8.0 Mbps and may not be as stable. As of 2006/2007 the ZyXEL P660R-61, and the ZyXEL P660R-ELNK, and the ZyXEL P660R-D1 are the only three ADSL2/ADSL2+ Modems provided by Earthlink. None of the earlier ADSL Modems from Earthlink can support ADSL2/ADSL2+ connections.
