Newest Hit in Atlanta is the Lobby at Twelve next to the outdoor shopping and entertainment complex Atlantic Station. I've been to Lobby at Twelve (in the high rise apartment and hotel building with a cement color look to it at atlantic station) twice already. Quiet restaurant and very dim lighting. Pretty dark. It's great. I especially like their chocolate fondue and brioche donuts dessert
The restaurant has a mediterranean flair to it with its selection of foods.
Great food, great service NO COMPLAINTS at all which is rare these days My Bill the first time I was there so you can get a feel for it: Bill:
1 Decaf 2.00 1 Salami Panini 12.00 1 Half Chicken 16.00 1 Evian 2.75 1 Half Chicken 16.00 1 Brioche Donuts 6.00 1 Coffee 2.00 1 Striped Bass 19.00
By the way, in the middle of the table is a rotating small table they put your sides on (vegetables, mashed potatoes etc). And Guess what? You get UNLIMITED REFILLS OF SIDE ITEMS!!!! That is absolutely amazing for a restaurant like this. I've never seen a gourmet restaurant that has side items separate from the entrées done this way where everyone who ordered an entrée splits from the side items at the center of the table but allows unlimited refills on side items. I believe you get 4 side items to split from and refill if you want. THE BREAD WAS GOOD TOO! I hate restaurants that are gourmet but have crappy bread. I loved their bread.
