Primarily in your ISP's support Forum here at BBR and which one you should choose from in the list below depends on your region of the US. The 5100 (and the new 4100) that AT&T/SBC uses is Crippled and running Customized Firmware per AT&T/SBC's specifications using a Branded Web Interface. It is completely different from a Retail 5100/4100 Router, PPPoE Modem or Bridge series. We'll still try to help you out on basics, but you'd be better served by choosing one of the AT&T/SBC Forums below especially if you are having any kind of connection or setup issues. Multiple fixes are involved and all AT&T/SBC Customers should upgrade their modems to this Firmware if applicable. The 4100 will be upgraded to D240-A5F (SBC53) code and the 5100b will be upgraded to E142-A2B (SBC53) code level.
