I have been using Voxee for several months now. I initially was hesitant based on comments observed from some users here on BBR/DSLr. My initial contact and hesitation was met with a friendly request that I try them with just a small deposit, and that I form my own opinion. I have never been sorry that added their service to my small herd of preferred providers on my asterisk systems.
I have experience only one bad connection during all of my use of Voxee, and did not experience any problem during an immediate follow-up call. For what it's worth, Voxee.com is the termination service route I have given highest priority for my Mother's domestic calls... she doesn't like surprises!
They are not the cheapest or most expensive termination service available. But they do provide high quality call routing at a reasonable price. They provide a very reliable service, I have experienced no outages/loss of service with Voxee; I cannot say that of most of my providers.
So, I have made up my own mind, and determined that based on the services provided to me so far, they are definitely a 'keeper' for my asterisk systems.
August17, 2008 UPDATE
Voxee continues to provide me with high quality call routing and termination. My Mother just mentioned again how much clearer the calls are compared to when she makes long distance calls using her PSTN line. Now that's a recommendation!
20090109 - I'll be keeping them as long as they allow me to! Still a reliable termination service provider that passes the quality test with my 89 year old Mother! High value for the $.
20090407 - Voxee seems to have just evaporated, with only a few web pages still floating around. I can no longer access my account, nor contact them by any means. There was no notice of any shutdown, it just quit working one day. I guess my small account balance is forfeit. I had excellent service until that day, so I'm sad to see them go.

Voxee started off great, especially if you were after a pay as you go service with good international rates. The service was no frills, outbound only, asterix and sip. Easy to configure and supported iLBC codec. This is v useful for anyone with a poor internet connection. Payment was by Paypal only and Voxee even absorbed the paypal fees.
On the down side there was no incoming and no interconnection with other services such as freeworlddialup. Tech support got progressively worse from early 2006 onwards, and the service itself became increasingly unreliable (lost of downtime). I believe they ceased operating by early 2007.

I'm having all sorts of problems with Voxee lately. Calls that goes through have bad quality. But most of the calls end up with asterisk giving me the all circuits are busy message.

Their prices are very very good, but the hassle is making me think about moving somewhere else. These guys used to be very good and I had good experience with them in the past, but something happened and now I have to go shopping for a new VoIP provider.
