    11/19/08 update:
I was off DSL for over 4 years due to traveling. I'm now back on Qwest DSL. I'm a happy camper. I'm paying 39.99 for 1.5 down with no contract and no phone service. Decent price I think.

    11/07/04 update:
It still works! Only thing I don't like is the latency. Sometimes it takes a long time for response. But it works and the download speed is pretty steady once the file starts.

Oh, I'm happy! It's alive! Had to wait for Covad to release my line, then to fix up my database record. From the time they were able to put in the order to when it was up was 6 days. Total downtime was 14 days. Seemed a lot longer.

Good speed in tests 1239/778 without tweaks. Download running about the same as Covad. My upload is GREAT!!!

My Qwest DSL should be hooked up on 03/30/04. I hope they hurry! I moved from Covad because of the price difference.

I ordered 1.5/1 with the basic qwest.net connection. The representative worked very hard to get my account straightened out so they could get the order put through. He kept in touch with me for almost 3 weeks during the disconnect of Covad until he could place the order for Qwest. That was above and beyond the call of duty.

I'm hoping the connection is as reliable as I had with Covad.
