I was looking for a connection that wasn't a party line, like I had with cable.

I tried signing up on the internet but couldn't find the link for Dry DSL, I found out latter I should have signed up for phone service then internet and dumped the phone.

But I pay only $4 more for Dry DSL.

I got 3mbps for $34. And that price will never change so they say.

I waited for the modem to be Shipped that took 5 days and another 2 day to come out to install and oh yeah it took another 2 days to connect. Because the first guy out didn't have enough time, or he wasn't a trouble shooter only an installer. Turns out they hadn't connected me in the CO.

I got a really sweet netopia/motorola modem. Was a snap to set up to my router and set up for always connected. It must have an unbelievable firewall I haven't been attacked since I got it 7 months ago.

The billing doesn't start until you are live which is great and when the system went down for 2 days they gave me 2 days credit. Best of all when I couldn't pay my bill online because of their server, I couldn't logon, they waived the pay over the phone charges like $5, and they were nice about it
