    I have been a broadband consumer since 1999. We have had SBC DSL during two different periods (four years the first time, and now back with them again {6 months so far})

    The one thing I can say about SBC DSL in our area is that it just works. We have had no issues with connection drops, or connection performance. I do not play games online, but have had my nephews use our XBOX 360 to play games at our house and they have never experienced any issues. We have used Vonage on the SBC line and it has always worked great (had Vonage for close to 2 years.)

    The thing I like about DSL that seems better than our cable modem providers is that we had issues with connection stability & Vonage call quality with the cable company.
