    I have had their DSL service since April, 2004.

    This is an update - some information from my earlier reviews has been removed since it is no longer timely.

    Service problems continue to be very rare for me in the time I've had DSL. The help I find on BBR's forums and the support from at&t technicians on the at&t Direct forum are great.

    When I first subscribed to their DSL service, a sales point was my ability to control the appearance of my home page. The unsolicited ads they have placed on my home page and the ads being added to my web mail are annoying and do not seem to be able to be excluded.

    This is my last update on DSL service from ameritech/sbc/at&t. I am moving to their u-verse product which will have a different broadband service.
