Still pretty happy with my service, no connectivity problems and speed is consistent throughout the day and night.
Would like to get faster speeds but pretty far away from the CO. Rumors of U-Verse coming to town are exciting.

Been VERY happy with my service, it has been rock solid over the years. I always get my rated speeds and latency is always low 24/7 can't be beat for $24.99

It has been almost 17 months now and I have had nothing but Supurb DSL service.
My Download and Upload speeds have been on Par with everyone else and that's 24/7!
No slowdowns at night.
Ping times for gaming are outstanding..also 24/7
Tech support I can only comment on the SBC Ameritech forum here and it's great, I have never had to call phone support or billing.

I had lurked in the SBC Midwest forum a few month's knowing that DSL would be coming to my area soon. After a few day of reading post's I knew that if I did have any trouble with anything these support guys were top notch and willing to go the extra mile to help out. That right there sold me!
Then after finding out DSL was now in my area I asked a few question in the forum and had my answers within minutes.
Then "appyrep" from the forum IM me and said "If you want to sign up let me know" I decided to sign up and "appyrep" called me at my home on the date and time we decided "what service"! He was very polite and very knowledgeable and answered a few questions I had.
I ordered on a Wednesday night and my Modem arrived on the following Monday.
Had sync on Tuesday and was up and running no problem within minutes.
Online gaming has been outstanding, ping is always 50 and it is STEADY!
Great service and support get it if you can.
I now have my lan setup, very simple. SBC is now on 3 systems, very smooth!
UPDATE:
Just a update, SBC DSL has been great so far. I recently upgraded to 1.5-3meg/384k and couldn't be happier with this service.
Web pages load faster than my friends 3meg charter and my ping time is always 20-40ms less than his while we online game together.
This service is great!
