When I ordered the service I had my modem within 5 days and service was already when I plugged it in.
After about 3 months I started having sync problems would drop for about 20 seconds but never lost connection. Tech support wasn't much help later found the problem was the modem which they finally said was a problem modem to begin with I think they waited to tell me that after the warranty was over. Now have 5360 and my top DL speeds have dropped down to 630k at best from 800k with the USB
but my UL speeds increased from 80k to 134k so for 768/128 service I am pleased with this. I did have a service call from ASI which is the contract company they use for DSL and the tech said I was very close to the central switch and that if I wanted too I could upgrade to the top of line 4Mb DL line with no problems I think I'll meet them half way and go with the 1.5 line for 59.95/mo
I have had the service since Sept. '01 and done self install to save the $99 install fee.
Overall quality out of 5 stars I give them 4

    Update 12-3-03
Well made a move down the hall in my apartment building and kept the same ph# which I now think was a problem because for some reason the system wouldn't release my old address so they could activate my new address. Initial active date was to be Nov. 20th a few phone calls and being told that it would be released on the 26th and would receive a call with my new activation date but that call never came because as of Dec. 1st it was still active at my old address, So with some help from the official and un-official SBC support on this site my DSL is now active.

I still can't give a 5 on tech support yet because of the phone help that I didn't receive.

Thanks guys you might have just kept me from putting a gag in my wifes mouth so I wouldn't hear "Why don't we have DSL yet" I think my nerves were starting to show in my post, Sorry
    Thanks to:

    2/10/04 Update

Called on the 2nd to get 6/608 got the upgrade today and love the speeds getting 4980/522 on a consistant basis.

    9/22/05 Update
Things still running smooth. Built a new system and now my speeds are 5100/522.

    10/25/06
Things still smooth. Wanted to move to the 6/768 package but ASI tech says my line isn't good enough to support it????? Funny thing is my line is solid 5100/522 with the 6/608 package.
Just updated to a 4100 modem and my line stats say 45.5 att and 12 SNR. Both are on the low end of the OK range.
