Way back in April/May of 2000, I ordered (April) got (May) the system. It took two installs, but it finally was installed. It was Up & Down for a year and a half.
In February of 2002 (while I was out of town, no less!) I ordered the 1.5/256 Pkg. The wife tested the system, and found the upgrade was installed on the same day I ordered it. In Summer of 2003 I switched from Un-bundled Loop to Lineshare, and added a Siecore Box outside, so I didn't have to add any filters. The "sidegrade" went smooth as silk. (3/22,2004) I upgraded to the >6/>600 package... Capped downward to 3.2 but system is still solid, and trouble-free! As Time went on, I checked with the folks, to see if a RT would ever be put near my house, so I could get past 3.2.... Was told it wouldn't be soon, so I downgraded to 3, well over a year ago. ~2006 downgraded to 3M cause RT is as close as CO is. Been there ever since.
Even though the 'early' times were rocky, I can say that I'm More than Pleased with SBC/Ameritech DSL
Also would like to say that the support folk who hang out in the Ameritech/SBC/ATT/________ forum are the best! They WILL go through hoops to help you!
