I had Bellsouth extreme 3552/384,and now have 6000/512.I pay $42.95 a month.I installed the equipment which was not very hard at all.They had my line provisioned before I had the install done.I have windows xp sp2 with some other upgrades..I use a versalink 327 .The bottom line is simply this.I have alot of friends and co-workers that use either AT&T"bellsouth,Mediacom,and or Cox cable. Everyone of them that has left there ISP for AT&T "bellsouth" has been very happy with their decision and I am too.For it was my computer with AT&T Internet service that they played with that simply made there minds up very quickly.I don't work for AT&T or know anyone personally that does. I have to agree that as far as my service goes it has been great.. I receive well over 100% of advertised speeds all the time.I also should add that I installed a Homerun with a TII splitter at the NID,and I'm 6291 feet from CO. I also need to add I'm PPPoE and always on. Bottom line, get Bellsouth and you won't look back.It is a best effort service. I would like to add that I get 6.1 to 6.6 DN and 430 to 436 kbps UP on all speed tests performed,In the 4 years that we have had Bellsouth "AT&T internet service we have never lost the connection.:::.. testmy.net test results ..:::
