My local cable company, Youngsville TV, switched providers from WestPA.net and now they suck (madbbs.net). Switched to DSL, never talked to anyone, just used my credit card and signed up online for dry dsl, no voice. I always get 3megs by 768k.
Kinda of sad, mom and pops, local monopolies. WestPA.net has fiber all over my area but cannot setup shop because of Verizon, my cable company, and my municipality.
Crazy, and now I am part of the beast I hate so much.

I ordered the service on May 30th. The modem was shipped and arrived the next Wednesday (4th). The next day (5th) I recevied an email and phone call stating my DSL service was ready.
The dsl modem will not sync. Called tech support and they opened a ticket. The service was supposed to be fixed within 24 to 48 hours. It is now 72 hours and no sync. Anytime I call them they are unsure of the progress of the local telco troublehooting the problem.
