Sympatico is a terrible service. the only positive is their tech support is 24/7, which is good when your service goes down and your email stops working when you need it most.
Don't expect to get the speed you sign up and pay for as Bell plays the 'We state UP TO this speed, not that speed exactly' card way too much.
I had an unlimited usage service with them for 5 years. Was told it was no longer available to new customers and that I was 'grandfathered' in and would get to keep it until I change my plan. I told them, leave it the way it is and don't change it. Well, they changed it without my permission to a capped usage service without my knowledge, I got hit with $30 in overage fees and was told there is no way to get my unlimited back, and blamed it on me, and said I gave permission to change it.
Bell has become a dishonest rip off company, and it's really sad that has happened. I suggest stay away and beware of their bad internet product.
Oh and by the way, besides not getting the speed you pay for, they chop your speed down even further and throttle your downloads to a crawl. You may get decent speeds, but only when they decide you should get it. Beware!
