I was with Bell for a few years initially I was more or less content (although their prices were never that competitive). Then came throttling and changes to my plan, new fees and every now and then they would set my profile to a lower setting and I had to call them to change it. Which, incidentally is like torture. It takes ages to get through their ridiculous automated call system, and when you finally do you get to talk to some person in India that may or may not have any idea what is going on. Worse than that they generally have an accent so thick that it is nearly impossible to understand what they are saying which results in getting hung up on on more than one occasion. Honestly the tech "support" is the absolute worse that I have ever encountered, simply shameful.
All I can say is that there are numerous other DSL providers that provide the same speeds as Bell but with better caps and superior tech support, and generally at better prices. All in all I found that Bell always found new and surprising ways of treating their customers as poorly as possible while extracting the most amount of money they could. In conclusion, stay away, go with someone like TekSavvy, seriously.
