    My Other Reviews·Videotron
In June 2004, I left for Germany to study abroad. I had cable then, since I could barely hold synch at 3mbit, their customer service was horrible as well as their technical support (they really liked to argue that unplugging all phones in the house would solve my synch issue, as if CO distance played no role.)

I came back August 2007, more than three years later, in a new apartment. I was told Bell had gotten better - so I went ahead and gave them a chance. Worse mistake of my life.

Not only is half of the calls being forwarded to India, where they struggle just to recite their script because they never learned proper English, their customer service is as dumb as they were before I left.

I put my order in for TV, Internet and Phone on 14.08 to my new address. I told them I wouldn't move there before 23.08, but that I would absolutely require Internet upon my arrival on the 23.08. The rep said it would not be a problem, since my phone line would be online on 16.08, and the modem would be sent tomorrow on the 15.08. An appointment was made later for TV installation.

I get to my new apartment on 23.08 - no modem, but phone works. It took FOUR calls and many hours of talk to suddenly realize the idiot who took my order never put it in the system... so Bell offered me dial-up they could send me a modem (29.08 !!!). I said fine, since there was no way I could get an appointment with Videotron before the 29.08.

Well dial up didn't work before 24.08 and I had to dash out for a USB 56k modem - let's face it, this thing goes back to the stone age. So here I am - signed up with Videotron, which just finished installing my TV, Phone and Internet. I flushed Bell and happy that I did.

Bell is just as bad as they were - incompetent. I'd take dial-up with a 3rd party ISP over Bell for ANYTHING.
