After a week, my best speed on the pro package is 1350/465. Advertised is 3/512. I have a dry loop line, which im sure is to blame, since I dont have their phone too. I have a dedicated phone line from the box to the modem(cat5) so, as support told me, its not my fax, directv, or cable modem, causing it to be slow. I was willing to take a moderate bandwidth hit to save some money. Going from 10/1 with cable to 3/512 to save $30/mo, seemed worth it to me. However since I have not even got 1/2 of the advertised DSL speed yet, I am rethinking my logic.
1/16/08 UPDATE: Things may be looking up. I have been in contact with a couple people from ATT and they are looking into this. They have been MUCH more helpful than tech support. Also, although at this point I am still far from my advertised speeds, the connection I do have has been stable. Regular speed test's return nearly identical speeds. I have since notched the RELIABILITY score up one.
A tech came out today and now my line is provisioned correctly. Speeds are normal and things are working great so far. The connection has been stable and very consistant. I have increasted the Support score, however this score reflects only the tech, and not the customer support line.
