I was very pleased to hear that the quality of the conversations is just like a traditional land line from AT&T. My primary reason for switching to Insight Phone was due to lack of e911 support from Viatalk (no information showed up when calling 911).
Although, after having Insight Phone for just 4 weeks, I switched back to Viatalk. It seems that Insight had given me a number that had recently been terminated by a customer who was being hounded by debt collectors. Since I now had that number, I was getting all the calls. Insight only allows for 10 numbers to be blocked, and there many, many more than that calling. They also could not fix my caller ID to show my name/address. After calling 2 times a week for 4 weeks, I gave up on them ever fixing my caller ID. Test calls to 911 revealed that the former customer's name/address was showing up - not mine, rendering 911 useless - about the same as with VOIP. If they can't fix something as simple as caller ID, I was not comfortable with them being able to fix bigger problems.
So, since VOIP was cheaper ($14) than Insight ($26) and had more features, VOIP won, and I canceled Insight Phone.
